Theater performances have always been a way to integrate into a society in which culture, in all its forms, and people from different social backgrounds meet. If in the past centuries going to the theater is an expected event, today the participation in various shows is not as high. At the same time, there are people who have made going to the theater a routine. Because peace and common sense prevail at such an event, below are some good manners that should be followed in theaters.
• Punctuality at such an event, and in general, is very important. It is advisable to arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of the show and, thus, you will have time to go to the wardrobe.
• If at music concerts or other similar events it is not mandatory to wear clothes to the wardrobe, in the case of theater performances this is a must.
• It is rude to enter or leave the room during the performance. It is also considered disrespectful not to stay until the end of the last scene.
• Out of consideration for those on stage, mobile phones should be turned off. This is recommended for all events.
• Also, do not check the phone and do not stay on any social network, no matter how tempting that may be.
• Do not eat or drink in a theater. You can do this only in specially arranged places, either before the show or between acts.
• Even if you are full of emotion and you like the song very much, it is not polite to applaud during the show. You can do this at the end or at the end of an act.
• Theaters usually have stairs on both sides. There is a rule in this regard as well: go up on the left side and go down on the right side.
• If you have a seat in the middle, you will always go towards it facing those who have already taken their seat.
• When it comes to the outfit, it must be well cared for and have a touch of elegance.
