Parents from Sibiu take their children to private kindergartens where they can learn exclusively in German, for example, from an early age. There are many prestigious elementary schools, and lyceums and faculties in the city attract students from all over the region every fall. There are also many After School-programs, with all kinds of activities for kids. Multinational companies operating in Sibiu even open internal kindergartens, to facilitate the lives of employees.

6. Jobs in Sibiu have multiplied considerably in the last decade, when many investors from the country and abroad have decided to move their businesses here. The unemployment rate is close to 0 and the standard of living of the people of Sibiu has increased a lot.
