3 areas in Sibiu that have experienced incredible development in the last two years

Certainly, any citizen who arrives in Sibiu after a longer period of time observes a constant development of the city, but also the scale of the residential and industrial projects started here. And this can only make us happy. In general, Sibiu is constantly growing, but let's see which the top 3 areas of interest for both real estate developers and buyers are.

Piața Cluj/Cluj Square
Cluj Square is located very close to the Cibin riverbank, just a few minutes away from the historic center of the city. The area is mostly populated by houses, but in recent years several residential projects have been built here, to the delight of buyers. 
INSIBIO, the project built by Imperial Group right next to the Majestic restaurant, is one of them. The two blocks of flats were sold quickly, the area being excellent for hotel-style rental. Finally, we have to mention the Kogălniceanu neighborhood, a superb project made up of 23 quality blocks, where the apartments were sold like hot bread!

Why do customers opt for an apartment for sale here?
The proximity to the city center is certainly the main advantage of this area. Furthermore, the easy access to the Industrial West area, but also to the motorway, shopping centers in the area, the numerous parking lots and the arranged playgrounds weigh a lot in the customers' buying decision.

Lacul Binder/Binder Lake
Binder Lake is the only lake in Sibiu, located in the Țiglari neighborhood. The lake shore, but also the surrounding areas are undergoing today a process of full development, although many preconceptions of the people of Sibiu have kept the neighborhood in a „gray” area for several years.

Sibiu City Hall started a year ago the arrangement of the lake, which will definitely be a unique leisure area in Sibiu. The local administration included in the project facilities for water skiing, bike and running tracks, artificial beach, playgrounds, promenade areas, etc.

At the same time, intensive work is being done on infrastructure and access roads. It is easy to understand why the houses built and registered have already been sold quickly, being an excellent product for investment. At the moment, numerous real estate projects are under construction or being approved. Dozens of blocks of flats and houses will change „the face” of the Țiglari neighborhood, and we are confident that Binder Lake will slowly become a second center of the city.

Gării/Train station area
At the end of 2017, the construction of a new shopping center in Sibiu was announced, located very close to the city’s train station. Since then, the area is constantly growing. Festival Mall will be completed in the fall of this year and dozens of families are already living in the City Residence neighborhood and other new buildings built beyond the Train Station Bridge.
This part of the city is also promising in terms of growth. Residents have easy access to the city center, to the County Hospital and to private clinics, but also to numerous educational institutions.
