5 reasons why Sibiu is developing in the West

All the data and statistics regarding the development of our dear city show that Sibiu is growing considerably in the West, and the trend of expansion in this direction will continue in the coming years.
Why? What are the reasons that determine investors to turn their attention in this direction?
I have prepared some of the most important reasons.

1. 60% of Sibiu people work in the Industrial West area. It is true that this year many of them had their home office, but most multinational companies that opened their headquarters in Sibiu also chose the Western area to do so. In addition, year after year, new offices and industrial halls emerge in this area. Real estate developments in the area are thus only a natural consequence.

2. Highway and city belt. Definitely, the fact that Sibiu is connected to Western Europe by highway is a great advantage for Sibiu. Travel is easier and faster. At the beginning of 2020, the last section of the highway was completed, which connects Sibiu and the center of Western Europe through the highway. The distance Sibiu - Munich is covered in 11 hours by car, to Vienna it is 8 hours by car, and in Budapest it is reached in 5 and a half hours.

3. The new municipal hospital will be located right here, on Calea Surii Mici. This is the largest public investment since the Revolution in Sibiu County. The project will be built on an area of ​​over 190,000 square meters and is another reason for the interest in this area to grow and the value of real estate to be higher.

4. New infrastructure - a boost for the Sibiu real estate market. In 2019, both Tractorului Street, Tiglarilor Street and Binder Lake Street were completely redesigned and modernized. A good thing for those who have already bought an apartment for sale here, but also for those who want to expand their business in this area.

5. Lake Binder - the only leisure area in the city. Local authorities have announced that the Binder Lake area will become a unique recreational area in the city, with a restaurant on the pontoon, promenades, a running track and cyclists. It is true that due to external factors, the works were delayed a bit, but we can't wait to enjoy another relaxation area in the city.
