1. Ciocanesti (Suceava county). Suceava commune is located in the Iacobeni mountain area, 20 kilometers from Vatra Dornei. It won the hearts of people who visited it especially through simple houses and painted with traditional motifs, which steal your eye from the first moment. Also here take place several events through which the commune becomes known both in the country and in Europe. It is famous for the National Festival of Scrambled Eggs or the National Festival of Traditions and Customs. 2. Breb (Maramure county). The list of beautiful villages must include at least one village in the beautiful Maramures. Breb village is located at the base of Gutai mountains, 25 km from Sighetul Marmatiei and 52 km from Baia Mare. It is considered the most visited village in Maramures. Here you will find young and old gathered in seats as before, dressed in folk costumes and making the most beautiful art objects. Also here you will find craftsmen who still make the famous wooden gates and many traditional places to visit.

3. Rimetea (Alba county). Rimetea commune is located in Alba county, 56 km from Alba Iulia. You fall in love with it at first sight due to the Piatra Secului peak that surrounds it and then due to the almost identical houses: tall, made of wood, whitewashed, with green shutters. If you get here you definitely have something to visit. Coltesti Fortress, Aiud Gorges or the Unitarian Church are waiting for you at any time. It is also known across the border. In 1999 it received the title of "Europa Nostra" from the European Commission, as a result of the conservation of cultural and architectural heritage. Three years later it was proposed to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

4. Viscri (Brasov county). Viscri village is located in Bunesti commune, Brasov county. He became known especially after Prince Charles bought a property here. The village is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, being among the seven villages with fortified churches. It is also known for its Saxon houses, with a spring architecture, in vivid colors and floral details. You can visit here the famous Fortified Church and you can enjoy quiet walks, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

5. Certeze (Satu Mare county). Certeze is located in the N-W of Romania, in Satu Mare County, and is part of the wonderful Land of Bones.
