Hot water is a necessity nowadays, and the options for disposing of it are different, depending on how everyone's home was designed. Many homeowners, especially those in rural areas, use efficient and economical equipment to access a hot water source. Among the most used options are the electric boiler or the instant. Both are used for the same purpose, to heat water, but are based on different operating principles and have certain features.

Thus, in today's real estate blog article, the differences between the two equipments are presented, but also the advantages and disadvantages of each.

The electric instant, as its name suggests, is the equipment whose circuit is based only on electricity. The main difference between this and the electric boiler is that the instant heats the water on the spot, whenever needed. They are very easy to install and can be installed anywhere without much hassle.
Advantages of electric instant
• You have instant access to hot water when it is connected to an electricity source;
• Economic equipment. The instant is more economical compared to its boiler or heating system, being designed precisely to consume as little electricity as possible;
• Easier to install. Because it is not very large, it can be mounted even in smaller spaces, as long as it has access to electricity and water;
• Durable. If well cared for, the instant can last up to 20 years;
• Low purchase price. Compared to other heating systems, the instant has a lower price to buy.

Disadvantages that come with using it
• Even if it has the task of heating the water instantly, during use, the water temperature may decrease or increase leading to discomfort;
• This type of heater can only be installed in place of a sink faucet and cannot be connected to a general water suppl.

The electric boiler has a larger tank, in which water is stored. It is heated all the time and for this reason the boiler must be permanently connected to a power source. Thus, every time the corresponding sensor detects a drop in the set temperature, the heating process will start automatically.
The advantages of the electric boiler
• Quick access to hot water. It is designed to maintain an optical water temperature. When the water drops below the set temperature, the thermostat starts to return to the set temperature;
• Hot water for all family members. Because each boiler differs depending on how big the tank is, but also depending on its performance indicators or power, it is advisable to be chosen taking into account the number of people in the house;
• Noise reduction. The boiler is very quiet during operation;

As disadvantages
• Significant costs. Even if its purchase does not require a significant cost, the electricity costs will be higher because a larger amount of water is used and because whenever the temperature drops, it pronounces;
• It takes up more space. It is more difficult to find a place for the boiler because of its size.

In order to make the right choice for you and your home, it is good to analyze the differences between the two equipments. Here are the particulars of each.
• The electric boiler has a tank, where the water is kept at a set temperature. In the case of the instant, the water is heated directly;
• The boiler must be permanently connected to a source of electricity in order to ensure that the water remains at the set temperature, and the instant must be connected to the socket only when in use;
• The electric boiler needs a lot more space compared to the heater, which can be mounted in very small spaces;
• Because the instant starts only when it is switched on, the electric power consumption is lower than in the case of the electric boiler.
