Cities seen from above - A visual spectacle
03.02.2022

To see the beauty of a place and everything that is more special, you have to see its big picture. When you live in a certain area you are used to everything around you and you lose sight of how beautiful it can be sometimes to combine nature with things created by humans. Walking down the street offers a narrow perspective on what each place means. There are cities in the world whose view from above delights the eyes of spectators who see a different face of all the details around.

In today's real estate blog article you will see some areas of the world photographed with a drone, which delight readers.

1. Suloszowa, Poland
Suloszowa is a small village with a population of almost 6,000. It is known for having one of the longest streets in Poland (it stretches for 9 km), as can be seen in the image below. The village is located 29 kilometers northwest of Krakow and is close to many attractions including: Ojcowski National Park and Pieskowa Scala Castle.

2. Plaza de Tetuan, Barcelona
The design of the city was conceived by the engineer Ildefons Cerdà, who named it Eixample. The design has long, straight streets, wide alleys and square octagonal blocks with rounded corners placed in a strict grid pattern. The design offered better visibility, air and is the great aerial landmark of Barcelona

3. Palmanova, Province of Udine, Italy
The commune was built in 1593 during the Late Renaissance. It is one of the many old star forts of this period. This 9-corner fort was designed by Vincenzo Scamozzi. In 1960, the fort was declared a national treasure and became a national monument. It was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2017. ⠀

4. Sun Lakes, Arizona, USA
Sun Lakes is a community organized and developed in the mid-1970s by a single builder, Robson Communities. The resort was created for retired citizens, to have a suitable place to relax. In the area there are 10,000 houses, five golf courses, five country clubs, two shopping centers and a medical and education center.

5. Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan
A row of well-kept trees takes place in an area north of Sapporo. The created urban forest embraces the community and unites two green areas. Such an urban forest contributes to the creation of a more accessible and sustainable city and at the same time to the delimitation of the local identity.

6. Stenhagen, Uppsala, Sweden
Stenhagen was built around the 1990s and consisted of medium-sized buildings and several mansions. A few years later, in the early 2000s, terraced houses were built.

7. Brøndby Haveby, Denmark
In 1964, the municipality of Brondby decided to reserve an area for a "garden town". The architect who designed the project wanted the gardens to be divided into circular shapes, a shape that symbolizes an old village where people met at the fountain located in the center.
