1. Do you know what you want to buy?

2. Set a list of priorities you expect from your new home.

Do things practically and don't skip any steps.

4. Look for real estate offers. Ask for recommendations.
Whether you have decided to look for a new home on your own or have decided to work with a real estate agency, the search process itself begins only after the first steps have been completed.
Now you know what you want to buy, what you are looking for in a new home and what the comfortable budget is. 5. Down payment. Documents. Notarial signings.
After you find the home you like, in the neighborhood you wanted, within the comfortable budget, the process of taking ownership of the property follows. A down payment is paid to the owner, and if the apartment is being bought using a loan, the bank procedures start. If the apartment is paid 100% in advance, an appointment is made to sign the contract at a notary’s office.
If you have opted for the purchase of a new apartment on credit, this process takes place in two steps. First, the advance related to the loan is paid (at least 5% in the case of Prima Casă or 15% in the case of a mortgage loan) when signing the pre-contract, and, only after registration, the bank procedures will begin and the appointment for signing the final contract will be made.
