1. 9 Mai Street. The name of the street is established in 1945, representing the end of the Second World War and also the victory of the anti-fascist allied forces in the fight with Hitler's Germany. Before it was called "May 9", the street was named "Elizabeth", which is one of the gates of the Lower Town. Its route has remained the same since the medieval period, preserving the beauty of the past and today.

2. Vasile Aaron Street. He was a representative name for the Romanian Enlightenment, being among others a lawyer and translator. Originally from Alba County, after finishing his theological studies in Blaj, he studied law in Cluj. After finishing his studies, he settled in Sibiu and defended, as a lawyer, the interests of the Romanians in the land under the Saxon jurisdiction.

3. Aleea Fratii Buzesti Street. He was given this name in 1982, representing the brothers Radu, Preda and Stroe, great rulers under Prince Mihai Viteazu. Preda, was a bedfellow under Mihai Viteazul, being in charge when the ruler was in military campaigns. Radu was in charge of supplying the court, and Stroe took care of the royal table. Very industrious and temperate, they also formed an army, enjoying numerous victories against the Turks and Tatars.

4. Gladiolus Street. It has been known under this name since 1965. Here there was the Church and the Terezian Orphanage. Empress Maria Theresa built social houses here for Austrian emigrants who came to Sibiu. The housing estate lasted until the 1960s, when blocks were built instead. Later, the emigrants settled in different villages around Sibiu, and the empress proposes the arrangement of a Catholic orphanage in the place where the houses existed. The orphanage was built in 1858, turning into a school. Since 1909, in front of the orphanage is the bust of the empress. The church was built between 1767-1771.

5. School Swimming School. It is located in the central area of ​​Sibiu and has been named after it since 1921. Once upon a time, at the entrance to Sub Arini Park, there was the Swimming School of the Caesar-Craiesti military garrison. It was opened in 1829 and closed in 1946 due to hygiene problems.

6. Valea Aurie Street. Initially called Rogojinei Street, in 1991 it became Valea Aurie. The street is part of one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of the same name in Sibiu. It took its name after the golden glow of the bulb and dandelion flowers in the area. The flowers covered the valley during the flowering period.

7. Doamna Stanca Street. Today, it is one of the most famous streets in Sibiu, but not many know who was the person behind this name. Mrs. Stanca was the wife of Mihai Viteazul. They married in 1584, when he was already a boyar and had two children together: Nicolae and Florica. It is said that it was a great support for the ruler, supporting him to reach the ranks of the great nobility.
