Organize your home library like a pro

In recent years, e-books have taken the market by storm and become a mainstay of the publishing industry. However, the disappearance of printed books, as a result of the advancement of technology and the introduction of electronic ones, did not materialize as expected. Book lovers have not given up on print editions, the home library has remained for them the place from which they get their positive energy.

A beautifully arranged and well-organized library can become the central decorative point in a room, attracting everyone's attention. If you also have a library at home, today in the real estate blog section we give you some suggestions on how you could organize your books, when you are uninspired and can't find the best option.

1. Sorting Alphabetically - This organization works best when you're the kind of person who remembers book titles and author names more than book genres. It will be easier for you to look for a title when you want to read or reread a work, or when a friend wants to borrow something from you.

2. Color organization - This arrangement strategy is ideal if you are the type of reader who associates a story with the book cover. By approaching this method you can become super creative: you could put all your white cards on one shelf, the red ones on another, followed by the yellow, green, blue ones and so on. You can also stack the books by opting for a rainbow look, which adds color to your home, and guests will certainly be impressed when they see your library.

3. Sort by the impact they have on you - Do you think a book has changed your life? This definitely deserves a central place in your library. Displays your favorite books in front and in the center, where they can shine.

4. KonMari Method - Created by the Japanese Marie Kondo, this method of organization and sorting is based on identifying the things that bring us joy and giving up those that do not transmit a state of well-being. For reading enthusiasts who love to own a large library, this process can be complicated. The method involves, for a start, taking all the books and placing them in a place where sorting will take place. Only those titles that we know we will return to will be kept in the library, such as personal or professional development books, dictionaries, or those with which we have memories.

5. Sort by year of publication - Organization by date of publication is not very common, people do not use this type of sorting too often. But, it can be a great way to present a collection, to view the history of publications on the shelves of your library.

6. Organize by Purchase Date - This strategy helps you when you buy several books at once and then forget to read them. Put the childhood books in the upper left corner and arrange the rest in chronological order. Thus, in the lower right corner you will always have a "read soon" section.
