In this sense, visits to friends or relatives are the perfect plan to spend quality time and get away from the daily routine. During the holidays, such visits can bring joy to both the hosts and the guests. To maintain joy, you must not forget a few rules related to the code of good manners.
1. Any visit must be announced in advance. It is not pleasant to appear unannounced, no matter how close your host is.
2. Each visit must be accompanied by a little attention, especially if the host also has children. A chocolate, a cake, are gifts of common sense.
3. Punctuality is necessary. In the "Code of good manners today", Aurelia Marinescu specifies that it is advisable to arrive 10-15 minutes after the set time. A longer delay could affect the host's schedule. If you are a punctual person, you should know that no sooner the time discussed is not polite to arrive.
4. A short visit with engaging discussions is preferable. Be careful around you and if you see that boredom is taking place, it's time to leave.
5. In most visits there is a time when you are left alone in the room, in this case do not start to check the room and inspect the personal belongings of the host.
6. If the visit lasts for a longer period of time you must be adaptable. Take care to leave cleaners behind you, offer your help to the host, try to maintain a pleasant atmosphere, etc.
7. Before entering someone's home, ask if it is necessary to leave your shoes at the entrance. Put your coat, bag or any other object in the place intended for them so as not to load the house.
8. Use magic words whenever necessary: thank you, please, with pleasure.
