Arhitectilor neighborhood - a new neighborhood on the Sibiu real estate market

 Arhitectilor neighborhood is one of the most sought after new housing neighborhoods near Sibiu.
This is due to the fact that many buildings have been built in this area. An important aspect is that in this area I can find most apartments and houses for sale, and the prices are much more affordable compared to other areas in Sibiu.
The name of this neighborhood comes from the fact that the streets related to it are named after famous architects such as: Irina Rosseti, Tiberiu Ricci, Paul Smarandescu, Nicolae Porumbescu, Ascanio Damian, Daniel Renard and others.
 
Delimitation
 The Architects' Quarter belongs to the city of Cisnadie and is located on the southern border with the city of Sibiu.
North - Soap Valley
South - Str. Ion Berindei
East - Selimbar Commune (str. Petre Antonescu)
West - Str. Dumbravitei (Dumbrava Forest)

Population
 According to the latest statistics, made in April 2019, there were approximately 3,500 inhabitants (given that not all tenants do not change immediately after the ID card moves, these figures may be erroneous)
We estimate that this neighborhood has reached a number of over 8,000 inhabitants (from the facebook groups it appears that there are 6,000, but it must be taken into account that not all are part of these groups)

Zone
 Like other neighborhoods, we can say that it can be divided into several areas. Among them we can mention some of the main streets: Irina Rosseti, Tiberiu Ricci, Haralamb Georgescu and Daniel Renard.

Types of constructions
In this neighborhood are built both blocks and houses, and the maximum height regime is GF + 3. The houses built in this area are of many types: individual, duplexes, triplexes, quadruplexes and row houses.

Tourist spots
At the moment there are no tourist attractions, because it is a new residential neighborhood.

Distance from the center
 The distance to the center is about 3.4 KM from the border with Sibiu, and from the other side of the neighborhood, the maximum distance is about 5.8 KM. Thus a walk to the center can be completed in about 40 minutes, depending on the area from which you leave. By car you can reach in 10-15 minutes depending on the time of day and the area from which you leave.


Infrastructure
From the point of view of infrastructure, there is only one access road that until November 2018 was considered County Road (DN), but which, later, was transformed into Grigore Ionescu Street.

At the moment, there are no means of public transport, because solutions are still being sought, both by the Cisnadie City Hall and by the Sibiu City Hall for the construction of such a line. In the future, it is desired to build a bypass that will facilitate access to Sibiu.


Parks
So far there are no parks in this neighborhood, but several playgrounds have been built around the newly built blocks.
