1. Sub Arini Park. Because Sibiu is our place of soul, we start the list with Sub Arini Park. Before taking shape and turning into one of the most beautiful parks, this was a wasteland located between the fortifications of Steaua and Josephin (military fortifications). It is the oldest park in our country, dating from 1856, and since then many improvements have been made (electric lighting, statues of important Romanian representatives, artesian fountain, bike lanes, etc.). Also, the park was enriched with over 680 species of trees, forest shrubs, 30 exotic species that were shelter for approx. 95 types of migratory and sedentary birds.
Today, the city municipality continues to make improvements to the original project. The park has 22 hectares, being the largest park in Sibiu and is ideal for moments of relaxation, for activities with the little ones, for sports activities or outdoor events.


2. Nicolae Romanescu Park. Certainly those who have been to Craiova and paid him a visit, understand why the park is on our list. It is the largest natural park in Eastern Europe and the largest urban green area in our country, covering about 90 hectares. In 1903, it was inaugurated in the presence of King Carol I, and the park project arrived in Paris, at the International Exhibition of 1900, where it was awarded the Gold Medal. Along the way, the initial project was completed: an entrance portal was installed, the pier was enlarged, a greenhouse of 1050 sq m was built, etc.
Currently, it enjoys alleys stretched over almost 27 km in length, various monuments, a suspension bridge, a zoo, a summer theater, etc.


3. Central Park in Cluj. The Great Park or "Simion Barnutiu" Park is the most beautiful park in the city. With an age of over 180 years, it is one of the first public utility gardens in Central and Eastern Europe. Since 2010, the park is on the list of historical monuments in Cluj County and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in Romania.
Here you will find alleys that cross the park, statues and monuments, basketball court with nightclub, an artesian fountain, a specially arranged place where in summer symphonic music concerts take place, etc.


4. Copou Park. Iasi is on everyone's list when it comes to what beautiful cities in our country to visit. Besides the architectural beauty, it welcomes you with a tailor-made park. Copou Park has an area of ​​approx. 10 hectares and is the oldest in Moldova. It has five entrances, and among the main attractions are Eminescu's Lime Tree, the Mihai Eminescu Museum and the Obelisk with Lions. Here are organized various cultural events, including the National Ceramics Fair "Cucuteni 5000" which takes place annually.

5. Roses Park. It is located in the central area of ​​Timisoara and is a major tourist spot. Here are over 10,000 roses, in different colors, delimited by boxwood hedges. It was conceived and designed in the French and English style, being inaugurated on July 19, 1891. It enjoyed even greater recognition after Emperor Franz Joseph paid a visit here. Today, it covers an area of ​​37,000 square meters and enjoys many visitors. It also has a summer theater, where festivals take place every year, including: the Festival of Hearts, the Opera and Operetta Festival, the Timisoara Prayer, etc.
