We support the first triathlon in Sibiu, organized on Binder Lake at the beginning of September

The works carried out at Lake Binder are no longer a novelty for the people of Sibiu, and the projects proposed by the Sibiu City Hall are eagerly awaited by those who live in the area and beyond. It transforms from an unused urban area, into a leisure and relaxation area. Citizens will be able to practice here water sports, beach sports; they will be able to ride bicycles, scooters or rollers, and children will have playgrounds.

Those who have already bought a home at Lake Binder have made a good choice, because in addition to the actual development, beautiful events are beginning to be hosted here.

At the beginning of September, the first big sporting event in the area will take place and also the first triathlon in Sibiu. According to the explanatory dictionary of the Romanian language, triathlon is a "sports competition consisting of three different events in which the same competitors participate, the ranking being made by totaling the results obtained in each event."

The "Binder Lake Triathlon" competition is organized by the "Aria pentru Sport" Sports Club and enjoys participants from both Sibiu and the country. It will take place on September 4, and the circuit is based on three endurance tests: swimming, running and cycling. Participants will swim a lap of the lake, then they will have a bike route (20 km), specially arranged. After returning by bike to Binder's Lake, they will run five laps around the lake.
